Teaching Literature in year 10 – Creative Reading Project: One of Us Is Lying

As part of their work on Karen M. McManus’ novel One of Us Is Lying, the students of Class 10a created their own book covers and blurbs. They showed their understanding of the characters, conflicts and suspense of the story in a creative way.

In addition, the students produced audio and video trailers to present the novel’s atmosphere and mystery. Here you can see a selection of their creative book cover designs.

Im Rahmen der Arbeit mit Karen M. McManus’ Roman One of Us Is Lying gestalteten die Schülerinnen und Schüler der Klasse 10a eigene Buchcover und Klappentexte. Dabei setzten sie sich kreativ mit den Figuren, Konflikten und der spannenden Handlung des Romans auseinander.

Zusätzlich erstellten die Schülerinnen und Schüler Audio- und Videotrailer, um die Atmosphäre und das Geheimnis der Geschichte einzufangen. Sehen Sie hier eine Auswahl der kreativen Buchcover:
